Benfica

A week later, in a 1-1 draw with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua, he managed to score his first goal for the club in the Chinese Super League.

On 6th August, 2018, Witsel decided to sign a four-year contract with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund for an estimated fee of $23 million.
