This NFL Hall of Famer was born on 4th February 1959 in Williamsburg, Virginia, New York.  Born to father Clarence and mother Iris Taylor, the former NFL star had a wish to be famous and a millionaire before the age of 30.

Born with the name Lawrence Julius Taylor, he was a challenging child during his early days. His father was a dispatcher at the Newport News shipyards, and his mother was a schoolteacher.

The former NFL superstar defender was again arrested on 8th November 2009 for leaving the scene of an accident after striking another vehicle with his car. This was his 2nd hit and run case. The same incident happened in 1996, and Taylor was released on a $500 bond. Further, he was sued by the other driver for $15,000.

Taylor pleaded guilty to tax evasion in 1997 and was sentenced to three months of house arrest followed by five years of prohibition, and 500 hours of community service.

Following the incident, again in May 2010, Lawrence got arrested on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.  Reportedly, the former Giants star defender paid $300 to the girl for having sex with him. Taylor was sentenced to six years probation after pleading guilty on 22nd March 2011.

After NFL

During his final year in the NFL, Taylor started a company named All-Pro Products. After the formation, the company went public at $5 per share. Further, the stock price reached $16.50  per share. At the time, Taylor’s stake value rose up to  $100 million in total.
